At Destination Mazda Vancouver, we believe a better world starts with lifting others up. The Mazda Legends program celebrates community members who make a difference by supporting those who need it most.
We are proud to honour Minaz Dhanani as our Mazda Legend for his outstanding volunteer contributions with Burnaby Citizen Support Services. His volunteer work helps reduce isolation among seniors through providing transportation services to social outings and medical appointments. In addition, he offered companionship and support through the Cancer Clinic and Better at Home programs.
Last year, Minaz went above and beyond by fulfilling a senior’s final wish for one last car journey, as he devoted an entire day to drive her to her alma mater, UBC. He’s always available when others cannot, as he consistently offers compassionate support, even at late or unconventional hours.
As a token of appreciation for his remarkable contribution, we surprised him at Destination Mazda Vancouver with a collection of gifts, including 4 winter tires with installation, roadside and first aid kits, a detailing package, a $700 gas card - valued at over $2,500.
